About The Position
Physician Assistant (PA) – Veteran Disability Evaluations. This role offers a unique opportunity to utilize clinical skills in evaluating U.S. veterans for VA disability benefits with The IMA Group. It is 100% evaluation-based care with no treatment plans, no prescribing, and no follow-up visits. The focus is on focused, one-time assessments where clinical judgment directly impacts a veteran's benefits outcome. This role is ideal for those tired of chart burnout, call rotations, and never-ending patient panels, offering a role built for balance.
Requirements
- Active PA license
- Master's degree from an accredited PA program
- Clinical PA experience required
Nice To Haves
- Background in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Occupational Medicine, PM&R, or Orthopedics a plus
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations for veterans
- Review medical records, diagnostics, and supporting documentation
- Complete detailed VA disability reports using our electronic platform
