About The Position
SEVA Medical Group is hiring a full-time, on-site Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant in Banning, California. The role involves providing high-quality emergency medical care, assessing and treating patients in urgent-care situations, and handling critical-care cases. Emergency medicine experience is preferred. The position is based at San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital, a 79-bed general acute-care hospital. Its emergency department has an annual volume of 41,000 visits, 30 hours of daily physician coverage, and 40 hours of daily APP coverage. The newly built department includes a 23-bed emergency department and a five-room Rapid Care Area for less-severe emergencies, and has Primary Stroke Center designation. Backup specialties include neurology, cardiology, gastroenterology, general surgery, orthopedic surgery, urology, vascular surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, pulmonology, critical care, hospital medicine, pediatrics, anesthesiology, cardiac rehabilitation, physical therapy, a women’s center, and surgery. Banning is located beside Interstate 10 between the Inland Empire and Coachella Valley, about one hour from Disneyland and 30 minutes from Palm Springs.
