About The Position
Dermatology, Inc. was founded in 1968 and has grown into one of the largest dermatology practices in the Midwest, providing comprehensive medical, surgical, and cosmetic skin care to meet the needs of our patients. We have eleven board-certified physicians and seven allied health professionals. We have expanded to several locations throughout Indianapolis and surrounding areas. Seeking a part-time Physician Assistant (PA-C) to provide medical dermatology services.
Requirements
- Graduate of accredited PA program
- Active Indiana license
- NCCPA certification
- BLS and ACLS certification
Nice To Haves
- Dermatology experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and dermatologic examinations
- Diagnose and treat dermatologic conditions
- Develop treatment plans and prescribe medications
- Order and interpret diagnostic, lab, and radiologic tests
- Perform biopsies, cryotherapy, and lesion removal
- Educate patients on conditions and treatments
- Promote preventive care
- Consult with supervising physician
- Refer patients as needed
- Supervise staff
- Complete documentation and billing records
