About The Position
Orthopedic Associates of Dutchess County (OADC) has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Physician Assistant to join its team in Poughkeepsie and East Fishkill, NY. This well-established, state of the art orthopedic practice is committed to delivering exceptional patient care in a collaborative, supportive environment where APPs are valued members of the care team. Enjoy an outstanding work-life balance with a four-day work week and no call responsibilities. This is an office-based position supporting physicians in the Poughkeepsie and East Fishkill locations, with occasional planned coverage at the New Windsor and Kingston offices as needed. The role involves providing orthopedic care, including post-operative follow-up, fracture care, joint injections, and workers' compensation evaluations, with some orthopedic urgent care coverage required.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current or eligible NYS Physician license
- New graduates are encouraged to apply (with an orthopedic clinical rotation)
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Nice To Haves
- prior orthopedic experience is a plus
Responsibilities
