About The Position

At Proliance Surgeons, we are committed to delivering exceptional outcomes, personally delivered. We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dynamic ENT practice. This unique position blends traditional ENT clinical and surgical responsibilities with aesthetic services, including cosmetic injectables such as Botox and dermal fillers. The ideal candidate is passionate about both functional and aesthetic medicine and is eager to grow within both specialties. The certified Physician Assistant is a critical part of our team, providing critical services to promote and maintain our service, care, and values. The role is well-rounded, ideal for a self-motivated person who wants to maximize their skill set and expand their clinical knowledge. In this role, you will act as first assistant in the ASC operating room and provide clinic-based care and post-operative care; and may provide surgical assistance in the hospital OR, and/or perform rounding on patients within the hospital.

Requirements

  • Current PA license (or eligibility) in good standing
  • Graduate of accredited Physician’s Assistant Program
  • Washington State Physician Assistant License, Current
  • Current Certification as a physician assistant by the National Commission of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
  • Current CPR and BLS from the American Heart Association
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience or training in aesthetic injectables is welcome
  • ENT experience is a plus, but not required
  • Willingness to obtain additional certifications in cosmetic procedures if not already held
  • Two years prior experience in surgery preferred

Responsibilities

  • Act as first assistant in the ASC operating room.
  • Provide clinic-based care and post-operative care.
  • May provide surgical assistance in the hospital OR.
  • May perform rounding on patients within the hospital.
  • Perform comprehensive patient consultations and develop customized treatment plans for aesthetic procedures.
  • Administer cosmetic injections (Botox and dermal fillers) with precision and attention to natural-looking results.
  • Educate patients on aesthetic products, procedures, post-care, and set realistic expectations.
  • Maintain the highest standards of safety, hygiene, and regulatory compliance in all aesthetic procedures.
  • Build lasting relationships with patients through compassionate, confident, and professional care.
  • Greet/identify patient & complete and document an accurate history and physical examination of patients; may include moving and positioning patients.
  • Conduct comprehensive or episodic health assessments and develop patient care plans.
  • Order and interpret tests, treatments, and therapies, within the scope of practice.
  • Prescribe medications, diet, supplies, prosthetic devices, and other home health aides according to clinical privileges.
  • Administer and/or inject medications.
  • Perform wound care; apply or remove casting, splinting, wound dressing; suture and staple removal, etc.
  • Instruct and counsel patients regarding the total treatment plan & therapeutic regimes.
  • Provide clear, concise, and accurate information regarding patient care in the medical record.
  • Obtain/maintain technical familiarity and proficiency for specific surgical procedures prior to their performance.
  • Remain proficient in the utilization of commonly used clinical protocols and guidelines.
  • Assist in Surgical Procedures.
  • Perform hospital rounds, including patient care, charting & all paperwork/documentation, and interacting with the patient and family/caregivers, staff, consultants, and discharge planners.
  • Provide education to patients, families, and significant others using established education materials.
  • May provide other clinical duties within the scope of practice as directed under a patient’s care plan.
  • Advocate for patients, families, co-workers, the community, and the health care profession.
  • Integrate evidence-based knowledge and clinical expertise in decision-making.
  • Seek experiences and formal and independent learning activities to maintain and develop clinical and professional skills and knowledge.
  • Establish an effective relationship with the supervising physician.
  • Complete duties and assist others as directed.
