About The Position

TeamHealth is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join their team at Paris Regional Medical Center in Paris, Texas. This is a Level III Emergency Department (ED) opportunity with an annual volume of 37,000 and a 19-bed ED. The role requires a qualified candidate experienced in emergency medicine. The hospital has a hospitalist program in place and offers specialty support in various fields. The EMR system used is MediTech.

Requirements

• Must be a Physician Assistant.
• Must be experienced in emergency medicine.
• Must be able to obtain Texas state license and DEA.
• Must have professional liability insurance with tail coverage.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Work within a Level III ED with an annual volume of 37,000.
• Collaborate with a 19-bed ED and a hospitalist program.
• Utilize the MediTech EMR system.
• Work with available specialty support including cath lab, interventional radiology, neurosurgery, OB, Ortho, Peds, and Psych.
