About The Position
WTCR is seeking a Physician Assistant to provide medical treatment to patients suffering from Opioid Use Disorder (OUD). This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care under the supervision of a WTCR physician. It's an excellent opportunity for moonlighting, requiring only a few hours per week. WTCR is a long-standing medication-assisted treatment network in Texas, offering methadone and buprenorphine treatment and counseling with a mission to improve patients' quality of life and support their recovery.
Requirements
- Graduate of a physician assistant program from an accredited school.
- Licensed in good standing in Texas as a physician assistant.
- Satisfactory criminal history and registry clearances.

- No call or hospital duties.
- No prescription requirements.
Responsibilities
- Participate in providing medical treatment to WTCR patients under the direct supervision of a WTCR physician.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Complete initial patient medical evaluations, including a medical history, with results documented in patient medical records at required intervals.
- Complete annual medical evaluations as required.
