About The Position

Under general supervision, and with medical consultation and direction, the Physician Assistant performs physical and psychosocial assessments, establishes medical diagnoses, orders and evaluates diagnostic tests, manages follow-up care, and performs other related work as required. The role includes conducting physical examinations, developing treatment plans, ordering and interpreting laboratory tests and results, and providing preventive healthcare and counseling. Certifications and credentialing applicable to this position are governed by the Medical Staff Guidelines.

Requirements

• A college degree as a Physician’s Assistant from a recognized university affiliated with a medical school.
• Meet the certifications and credentialing requirements applicable to the position under the Medical Staff Guidelines.

Nice To Haves

• Two to five years of experience in a medical practice setting focused on diagnosis, treatment, and patient education.
