About The Position

MainStreet Family Care is hiring PRN Physician Assistants to work across multiple clinics in the Clayton, North Carolina region. The role offers variety in a high-volume environment and requires flexibility to work with different teams and clinics. New graduates are encouraged to apply, including candidates who have not yet taken their boards. Providers care for patients of all ages across urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine settings. Shifts are determined approximately two months in advance. Clinic hours are subject to change based on company needs, training, and float coverage.

Requirements

• Physician Assistant certification is required prior to the start date.
• A master’s degree or higher is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• EMR experience.
• Microsoft Office experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine services.
• Perform minor procedures, including toenail and foreign body removals.
• Perform suturing and splinting.
• Evaluate and manage general orthopedic conditions.
• Review X-rays, which receive a Radiologist over-read.
• Interpret EKGs.
• Provide care for general dermatology, eye complaints, and GYN needs.
• Treat patients of all ages.
• Use emergency management skills in a fast-paced setting.
