About The Position
Care New England is seeking an inpatient surgical Physician Assistant to join their growing team of surgeons and physician assistants at Kent Hospital in Warwick, Rhode Island. The primary work location will be Kent Hospital, with occasional assignments at Women & Infants Hospital based on scheduling needs.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Certified by NCCPA.
- Active Rhode Island PA, CSR, and DEA license or eligible.
Nice To Haves
- OR 1st assist experience a plus
Responsibilities
- OR 1st assist and inpatient management
- Admissions
- Discharges
- Consults & daily rounding
- Bedside procedures include NG tube placement, wound vac changes and I&D of abscesses
