About The Position

TRIA Orthopedics is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join their collegial practice providing primarily outpatient orthopedic care at our practices based at TRIA Woodbury Clinic. This position will coordinate patient care and assist the surgeon in directing pre- and post-operative care for our orthopedic patients. This position is part of a very collegial and supportive team including advanced practice providers, orthopedic surgeons, fellows and residents.

Requirements

• Certified and licensed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
• Must be able to work flexible hours

Nice To Haves

• 1-2 years’ experience in orthopedic surgery and clinic environment including First Assisting and seeing patients independently

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care
• Assist the surgeon in directing pre- and post-operative care for orthopedic patients
• First and Second assist including closing wounds, preparing graphs, etc.
• Apply and remove casts and splints
