About The Position

MainStreet Family Care is hiring a floating Physician Assistant to work across multiple clinics in the East North Carolina region, including Wilmington, Havelock, Swansboro, and Kinston. The PA will provide patient-focused care in urgent care, primary medical care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine settings. The role involves working with teams at different clinics and providing leadership in a high-volume, fast-paced urgent care environment. Clinic shifts are determined two months in advance. MainStreet Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. KidsStreet Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Work hours may change based on company needs, training, and floater assignments.

Requirements

Physician Assistant board certification is required.
An MSN or higher education is required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with EMR systems.
Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

Perform minor procedures, including toenail and foreign-object removal.
Suture wounds and apply splints.
Conduct general orthopedic evaluations and management.
Review X-rays, which will also be over-read by a radiologist.
Provide general dermatology and eye care.
Interpret general EKGs.
Provide emergency management.
Provide general gynecological care.
Treat children of all ages.
Provide occupational medicine services.
Provide telemedicine services.
Work across multiple clinics and provide leadership in a high-volume, fast-paced urgent care environment.
