About The Position

As a pivotal member of our office-based vascular and interventional radiology practice, the NP is crucial in upholding our commitment to delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care. The focus is primarily clinical, with responsibilities including assessing, diagnosing, treating and educating patients. Working in collaboration with a team of expert healthcare professionals, they ensure the highest standards of care, reflecting our status as a leader in vascular and interventional radiology. This is a full-time working Monday -Friday 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM role to split time fairly equally between our Edina and Woodbury locations. Vascular & Interventional Experts is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare.

Requirements

  • Successful completion of advanced practitioner training and certification as a practitioner (general or specialized) from either an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Current state license as a Physician Assistant.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Ability to Comply with company policies, procedures, practices and business ethics guidelines.
  • Complete job required training.
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, (e.g. HIPAA, Stark, OSHA, employment laws, etc.)
  • Demonstrate prompt and reliable attendance
  • Work in the clinic, office or procedure center during business hours
  • Travel independently throughout the clinic, office or procedure center (which may include movement from room to room); frequent bending, lifting, standing, stooping or sitting for long periods of time may be required
  • Work at an efficient and productive pace, handle interruptions appropriately and meet deadlines
  • Communicate and interact in a respectful and professional manner
  • Prioritize workload while being flexible to meet the expectations of the daily operations
  • Apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Understand and execute a variety of instructions
  • Effectively operate equipment and communicate on and operate the phone system
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Travel to other work locations, if required

Nice To Haves

  • This position will work primarily with peripheral vascular patients

Responsibilities

  • Evaluation of a wide variety of patients
  • Perform and document applicable clinical history and physical examinations
  • Order appropriate laboratory, imaging studies, and diagnostic procedures
  • Evaluate patients to determine a suitable treatment plan, collaborating with supervising physicians as indicated
  • Perform procedures within scope of practice
  • Instruct patients and family regarding implications of results and rationale for treatment plans
  • When greater depth of knowledge is required, support nursing staff in relaying results and returning patient phone calls
  • Serve as resource to referring physicians
  • Any and all other duties as assigned
