About The Position

As a pivotal member of our office-based vascular and interventional radiology practice, the NP is crucial in upholding our commitment to delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care. The focus is primarily clinical, with responsibilities including assessing, diagnosing, treating and educating patients. Working in collaboration with a team of expert healthcare professionals, they ensure the highest standards of care, reflecting our status as a leader in vascular and interventional radiology. This is a full-time working Monday -Friday 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM role to split time fairly equally between our Edina and Woodbury locations. Vascular & Interventional Experts is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare.

Requirements

Successful completion of advanced practitioner training and certification as a practitioner (general or specialized) from either an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
Current state license as a Physician Assistant.
Current CPR certification.
Ability to Comply with company policies, procedures, practices and business ethics guidelines.
Complete job required training.
Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, (e.g. HIPAA, Stark, OSHA, employment laws, etc.)
Demonstrate prompt and reliable attendance
Work in the clinic, office or procedure center during business hours
Travel independently throughout the clinic, office or procedure center (which may include movement from room to room); frequent bending, lifting, standing, stooping or sitting for long periods of time may be required
Work at an efficient and productive pace, handle interruptions appropriately and meet deadlines
Communicate and interact in a respectful and professional manner
Prioritize workload while being flexible to meet the expectations of the daily operations
Apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Understand and execute a variety of instructions
Effectively operate equipment and communicate on and operate the phone system
Work independently with minimal supervision
Travel to other work locations, if required

Nice To Haves

This position will work primarily with peripheral vascular patients

Responsibilities

Evaluation of a wide variety of patients
Perform and document applicable clinical history and physical examinations
Order appropriate laboratory, imaging studies, and diagnostic procedures
Evaluate patients to determine a suitable treatment plan, collaborating with supervising physicians as indicated
Perform procedures within scope of practice
Instruct patients and family regarding implications of results and rationale for treatment plans
When greater depth of knowledge is required, support nursing staff in relaying results and returning patient phone calls
Serve as resource to referring physicians
Any and all other duties as assigned
