About The Position

The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is the largest employer in Saskatchewan, employing more than 45,000 staff in a dynamic healthcare environment. The position is for a Physician Assistant at Swift Current Community Services, within the Primary Care Sites department. It is a full-time regular position with a standard work schedule of 14 shifts of 8 hours per 3 weeks, during the day shift. Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited PA degree program recognized by PACCC
  • Eligible for registration with CPSS (for applicants outside of Saskatchewan)
  • Membership and Licensure in good standing with the CPSS as a PA
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
  • Canadian Certified Physician Assistant (CCPA) through PACCC
  • Physician Assistant - Certified (PA-C) through the NCCPA
  • Membership with the Canadian Association of Physician Assistants
  • Intermediate - Computer skills

  • Current ATLS Certification (Advanced Trauma Life Support)
