About The Position

MainStreet Family Care is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant (PA) to join their team in Centre, Alabama. The PA will provide patient-focused care in an urgent care, primary medical care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine setting. The role involves leading a small team in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and offers the opportunity to utilize the full scope of practice, treating patients of all ages from infants to geriatrics. The position emphasizes provider autonomy and leadership, with support from treatment protocols and medical assistants. The role also supports rural communities by providing accessible care and offers potential for student loan reimbursement grants. Requirements

Physician Assistant Board Certification required.
MSN, or higher education required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience working in EMR and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.) preferred.
DOT certified or willing to become DOT certified (company covers cost).

Responsibilities

Care for every patient who comes through the door within your scope of practice.
Diagnose and treat cold, flu, strep, COVID, and other upper respiratory issues.
Perform minor procedures (toenail removal, foreign object removal, etc.).
Suture.
Splint.
Perform General Orthopedic evaluations/management.
Review x-rays (to be over-read by Radiologist).
Handle General Dermatology issues.
Address General eye problems.
Perform General EKG interpretations.
Utilize Emergency management skills.
Provide General GYN expertise.
Treat children of all ages.
Provide Occupational medicine services.
Conduct Telemedicine consultations.
