About The Position

MainStreet Family Care is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant (PA) in Monroeville, AL, to provide patient-focused care in a high-volume, fast-paced urgent care environment. The role involves offering urgent care, primary medical care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine services. This opportunity is ideal for PAs early in their career, including new graduates, even those who haven't yet taken their boards. The company provides extensive support, including on-site orientation, training shifts with experienced providers, a complimentary pediatric urgent care CE course, and an NP on-call for clinical decision-making. This position allows PAs to utilize their full scope of practice, treating patients of all ages from babies to geriatrics, and handling a wide range of conditions. PAs will lead a small team of medical assistants, serving as the primary medical provider in the clinic, guided by treatment protocols. The role also involves supporting rural communities with limited access to care, and many clinics qualify for state-funded tuition or student loan reimbursement grants, with company support for the application process. The company views this as a two-year investment in the PA's career growth and community service.
