About The Position

Compass Medical Provider is seeking qualified Physician Assistants to provide Occupational Health Functional Exams for the National Guard. Must be available Tuesday, August 18th through Thursday, August 20th, 2026. This role involves serving those who serve, supporting the health and readiness of the men and women who dedicate their lives to protecting our nation. Requirements

• Master’s degree or successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Active, unrestricted PA license
• Primary care experience required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong interpersonal skills; flexible and adaptable to changing environments
• Proficient computer skills
• Able to work long, active days with frequent movement between locations

Nice To Haves

• Occupational Health experience, preferred
• Knowledge of military procedures (e.g., AR 40-501), military protocols, databases, and acronyms, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational health and functional examinations.
• Review medical histories and relevant medical documentation.
• Perform physical assessments and evaluate functional limitations.
• Document findings accurately and complete required examination forms.
• Maintain compliance with applicable clinical and occupational health standards.
• Recommend appropriate referrals.
• Provide professional, respectful, and quality care to all Service Members.
• Collaborate with support staff to ensure smooth event operations.
• Ability to travel by air or ground transportation to locations as scheduled for dental readiness events.
