About The Position
The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine at the University of Washington is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant (PA) at the faculty rank of Teaching Associate to join their total joint replacement service. This PA will collaborate within a multidisciplinary health team, providing comprehensive orthopaedic care to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Requirements
- Current and valid Washington State Physician Assistant License.
- Graduate Degree from an accredited PA program.
- Nationally certified PA-C with DEA.
- Proven excellence working in an interdisciplinary collaborative team environment.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in orthopaedic care is preferred, but motivated and talented individuals can be trained.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive orthopaedic care to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team that may include orthopaedic surgeons, plastic surgeons, primary care and rehabilitation medicine physicians, occupational therapists, and orthopaedic residents and fellows.
