About The Position
MainStreet Family Care is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant (PA) to join their team in Bainbridge, GA. The PA will provide patient-focused care in an urgent care setting, serving patients of all ages. The role involves leading a small team, working in a high-volume environment, and utilizing the full scope of practice. The company offers comprehensive training, including an on-site HQ orientation, training shifts with experienced providers, a complimentary pediatric urgent care CE course, and an NP on-call for clinical support. The position emphasizes provider autonomy, with treatment protocols available to guide decision-making. PAs will also serve as professional role models for medical assistants. The role supports rural communities by providing accessible care, with clinics open 362 days a year. MainStreet clinics often qualify for tuition reimbursement or student loan reimbursement grants, and the company assists with the application process. Requirements
- Physician Assistant Board Certification required.
- MSN, or higher education required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working in EMR and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.) preferred.
- DOT certified or willing to become DOT certified (company covers the cost).

Responsibilities
- Care for every patient who comes through the door within your scope of practice.
- Diagnose and treat cold, flu, strep, COVID, and other upper respiratory issues.
- Perform minor procedures (toenail removal, foreign object removal, etc.).
- Suture.
- Splint.
- Perform General Orthopedic evaluations/management.
- Review x-rays (to be over-read by Radiologist).
- Handle General Dermatology issues.
- Address General eye problems.
- Perform General EKG interpretations.
- Utilize Emergency management skills.
- Demonstrate General GYN expertise.
- Treat children of all ages.
- Provide Occupational medicine services.
- Conduct Telemedicine consultations.
