About The Position

MainStreet Family Care is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant (PA) to join their growing team in Starke, FL. The PA will provide patient-focused care in an urgent care setting, serving patients of all ages. The role involves leading a small team, working in a high-volume environment, and utilizing the full scope of practice. The company offers comprehensive training, mentorship, and support, including a complimentary pediatric urgent care CE course and an NP on-call for clinical decision-making. This position emphasizes provider autonomy, with established treatment protocols to guide care. The role also supports rural communities by providing essential healthcare services and assisting with applications for tuition reimbursement or student loan reimbursement grants. Requirements

Physician Assistant Board Certification required.
MSN, or higher education required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience working in EMR and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

Care for every patient who comes through the door within your scope of practice.
Diagnose and treat cold, flu, strep, COVID, and other upper respiratory issues.
Perform minor procedures such as toenail removal and foreign object removal.
Suture wounds.
Splint fractures.
Conduct general orthopedic evaluations and management.
Review x-rays (to be over-read by a Radiologist).
Handle general dermatology cases.
Address general eye problems.
Perform general EKG interpretations.
Utilize emergency management skills.
Demonstrate general GYN expertise.
Treat children of all ages.
Provide occupational medicine services.
Conduct telemedicine consultations.
