About The Position
Wagner Community Memorial Hospital and Clinic is seeking a qualified individual to join our team as a Physician Assistant (PA-C). This position is per request needed (PRN) and involves 24-hour shifts, including occasional weekends and holidays. The role will function as an Acute/Emergency Department Provider, with additional Hospitalist duties on weekends and holidays.
Requirements
- Graduate of a PA Educational Program accredited by the Commission of Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).
- Current Physician Assistant licensure in the state of SD is required.
- Federal and State DEA certification is required for South Dakota.
- BLS, ACLS/ALS, PALS, ATLS, and QMHP completion is required or completion upon the next available program.
Nice To Haves
- Prior Epic EMR experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Serve as an Acute/Emergency Department Provider.
- Perform Hospitalist duties on weekends and holidays.
