About The Position
UT Health East Physicians, CVC team is hiring a full-time Heart Failure Physician Assistant to join our Heart Failure department. This is an inpatient-only position with a schedule of Monday - Friday 8-4:30. The provider will see approximately 30+ patients per week and participate in one Sunday call rotation every month. The role involves working with one experienced heart failure surgeon and two advanced practice providers.
Requirements
- Full-time Physician Assistant
- Experience in Heart Failure care
- Ability to work Monday - Friday 8-4:30
- Willingness to participate in a monthly Sunday call rotation
- Ability to manage 30+ patients per week
- Experience working in an inpatient setting
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient care for heart failure patients.
- Manage 30+ patients per week.
- Participate in a Sunday call rotation once a month.
- Collaborate with a heart failure surgeon and other advanced practice providers.
