Requirements

  • Physician Assistant degree from an accredited school.
  • State of Maryland PA License, in good standing.
  • CPR Certification.
  • Skills in the use of various computers and software programs and be computer literate.
  • Able to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner.
  • Able to work independently and possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
  • Able to effectively communicate and deal tactfully with other personnel, visitors, patients, physicians, customers, and the general public.
  • Flexible, possess personal integrity, and the ability to function effectively as a team with other employees.
  • Able to follow written and oral instructions.

Nice To Haves

  • Two years of experience as a practicing PA.

Responsibilities

  • Perform history and physical exams on initial and follow-up assessments on urgent and non-urgent Business Health patients.
  • Support the services provided at the Downtown Baltimore office, located on the campus of Mercy Medical Center.
