About The Position

WTCR is seeking a Physician Assistant to provide medical treatment to patients suffering from Opioid Use Disorder (OUD). This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care under the supervision of a WTCR physician. It's an excellent opportunity for moonlighting, requiring only a few hours per week. WTCR is dedicated to enhancing patient quality of life and supporting long-term recovery from OUD.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a physician assistant program from an accredited school.
  • Licensed in good standing in Texas as a physician assistant.
  • Satisfactory criminal history and registry clearances.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in providing medical treatment to WTCR patients under the direct supervision of a WTCR physician.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Complete initial patient medical evaluations, including a medical history, with results documented in patient medical records at required intervals.
  • Complete annual medical evaluations as required.
