About The Position
We are seeking a Physician Assistant specializing in Urology for a Locum Tenens position in Kernersville, NC. This role involves both inpatient and outpatient clinical duties, providing urologic consultations, performing rounding, and managing urology patients independently. The position requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and proficiency in the Epic EMR system. Coverage is needed ASAP and is ongoing, with a shift schedule of 7a-7a or 7p-7a. Call duties are TBD with a 30-minute response time for in-house calls.
Requirements
- Licensed in NC or Universal License (IMLC)
- BLS certification
- Minimum 3 years urology experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
- Proficiency with Epic EMR
Responsibilities
- Provide urologic consultations in collaboration with supervising urologist.
- Perform rounding and on-call duties at acute care facilities.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary hospital staff and after-hours triage team.
- Manage urology patients independently, ensuring comprehensive care.
- Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and patient management.
