About The Position
Albany ENT & Allergy Services is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join their team. This role involves providing a variety of medical services within their Urgent Care setting, focusing on ENT care. The ideal candidate will be a diagnostician who can counsel, educate, and motivate patients and their families towards better health and well-being. This is a fully office-based position with no surgical/OR time. The position will involve training in the Albany office before transitioning to the new Saratoga Springs location.
Requirements
- Current unencumbered licensure and proper credentialing as a Physician Assistant in the State of New York.
- Board certified from the National Commission of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) at the time of hire and maintain certification throughout employment.
- Registered with the United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) for scheduled II-V Controlled Substances.
- Graduate of a Physician Assistant Program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant, Inc.
Nice To Haves
- Otolaryngology experience is preferred but not required, on the job training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Provide a variety of medical services under the supervision of an attending physician.
- Counsel, educate, and motivate patients and their families to take responsibility for their physical, mental health, and well-being.
- Function as a provider of ENT care within the Urgent Care setting.
