Physician Assistant (PA) - Shortsville Family Practice
About The Position
Provide exceptional patient care as a Family Physician Assistant in Shortsville, NY under the supervision of the Medical Director. This role involves providing consistent, high-quality care aligned with accepted national and/or community standards. The Physician Assistant will collaborate with office staff to develop and implement efficient office practices, and act as a liaison between the practice, practice management, and hospital administration. The position also requires fostering a cohesive Thompson identity through CARES values (Commitment, Action, Respect, Excellence, Service), ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing patient management and role modeling that unifies practice goals with health system goals. The PA will act in the best interest of the patient and assist the health system in meeting strategic goals.
Requirements
- NYS certification/registration as a Physician Assistant
- DEA license required
- Able to gain appropriate FFTH privileges
- Previous experience as a Physician Assistant in a family practice.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of ICD10 coding preferred
- Knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 Coding
