Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP)
About The Position
WellNow Urgent Care is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide quality healthcare to urgent care patients and Occupational Health clients. Providers work alongside a team of healthcare professionals in a fast-paced, high-volume urgent care setting, managing adult and pediatric patients and diagnosing and treating a wide range of ailments. The role contributes to a supportive medical community. There are no on-call responsibilities. Duties may include other job-related tasks requested by a supervisor, and job requirements may be reasonably modified to accommodate individuals with disabilities.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of emergency medicine experience or 18 months of experience in a high-volume urgent care setting.
- Ability to manage adult and pediatric patients.
- Licensure as a Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner in the state where applying.
- Physician Assistants must have active board certification with NCCPA.
- Family Nurse Practitioners must have active board certification with AANP or ANCC.
Nice To Haves
- 2 or more years of emergency medicine experience or 3 or more years of experience in a high-volume urgent care setting.
- Ability to manage adult and pediatric patients.
