About The Position

ReVive Orthopedics Spine & Sports Medicine is a growing multi-site practice providing comprehensive orthopedic, sports medicine, physical medicine & rehabilitation (PM&R), and interventional pain management care across the Greater Atlanta metro area, with an on-site ambulatory surgery center in Lithia Springs. Our physician-led team delivers non-surgical and surgical care for the full spectrum of musculoskeletal conditions, helping patients move better, feel stronger, and get their lives back. We are seeking a motivated Physician Assistant (PA-C) to work alongside a board-certified Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) physician specializing in interventional pain management, sports medicine, and general orthopedics. The PA-C will play a key role in patient evaluation, treatment planning, procedure support, and care coordination across our clinic locations. Please note: we are a procedural-based practice; we do not treat chronic pain-management patients.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant program (Required).
  • Current NCCPA certification, PA-C (Required).
  • Active, unrestricted Physician Assistant license in the State of Georgia (Required).
  • Non-restricted DEA registration for the State of Georgia (Required).
  • BLS certification (Required).
  • ACLS certification (Required).
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records and strong clinical documentation skills.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in orthopedics, sports medicine, PM&R, or interventional pain management preferred.
  • bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive new patient evaluations and follow-up visits for musculoskeletal, spine, and sports medicine conditions under the direction of the supervising provider.
  • Obtain histories, perform physical examinations, formulate differential diagnoses, and develop treatment plans consistent with practice protocols.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic studies including X-ray, MRI, CT, EMG/NCS, and laboratory testing as clinically indicated.
  • Perform and/or assist with in-office procedures within scope of practice and supervising provider delegation, including joint and soft tissue injections.
  • Provide pre- and post-procedure evaluations and follow-up care for patients undergoing interventional spine and pain procedures.
  • Prescribe medications in accordance with Georgia law, DEA regulations, and practice policy.
  • Coordinate referrals for physical therapy, DME, imaging, and specialist consultations, and ensure appropriate order entry and routing by insurance type.
  • Complete accurate, timely clinical documentation in the EMR supporting appropriate coding and billing.
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, home exercise programs, and post-procedure care.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff, front office, and leadership to support patient access, throughput, and a positive patient experience.
  • Travel to satellite offices as scheduled (mileage reimbursed).
