About The Position
Orthopaedic Associates is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our busy and growing orthopedic practice. This role will involve working a solo Saturday injury clinic, requiring prior orthopedic experience.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program
- Eligible or licensed in the State of Florida with prescribing authority
- NCCPA certification (PA) or national NP certification
- Orthopedic experience required
- Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions
- Perform focused physical exams and patient assessments
- Order and interpret imaging and labs
- Educate patients on treatment plans and post-procedure care
- Work collaboratively with orthopedic surgeons and clinical teams
