About The Position

United Digestive is a large, well-established organization with approximately 140 physicians, 120 Mid-level Providers, and 27 endoscopy centers in the southeast. We seek candidates with a record of academic achievement and excellent consultative and diagnostic skills. Gastroenterology experience is preferred, but not required. The Center for Digestive & Liver Health Medical Office in Pooler is seeking a Physician Assistant PA-C or Nurse Practitioner ACNP to provide medical assistance to patients in office and in hospital, receiving training and direction from practice physicians.

Requirements

• Master of Medical Science, Physician Assistant or Master of Science in Nursing, Nurse Practitioner required, adult or acute care Nurse Practitioner.
• Must be computer literate and able to operate Practice Management software and multiple Microsoft Office applications.

Nice To Haves

• Gastroenterology experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Running daily GI outpatient clinic
• Accurately providing and counseling patients with information for medical treatment or procedures
• Answering emails and voicemails and returning patient calls in a timely and efficient manner
• Abiding by and promoting HIPAA compliance; maintaining strictest confidentiality with regards to patient information
