About The Position

UT Health East Physicians, CVC Clinic is hiring a full-time Physician Assistant (or Nurse Practitioner) to join our cardiology team at UT Health Athens and our Cardiovascular Clinic. This role involves a combination of inpatient and outpatient clinic responsibilities. The schedule is Monday–Thursday, 8:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m., and Friday, 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m., with an expected patient load of 15–20 patients per day. The position requires a split schedule between UT Health Athens in the mornings and the Cardiology Clinic in the afternoons. Inpatient duties include performing consults, evaluating ED patients, and overseeing stress tests. Outpatient duties involve evaluating new and established patients with cardiac conditions and performing comprehensive history and physical examinations. Additional shifts are available and compensated. The PA/NP will collaborate with two cardiologists.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of cardiology experience required
• Full-time availability
