About The Position

Family Care Network is seeking an experienced ARNP/PA-C to join our team. We are looking for a qualified, motivated individual with a passion for family medicine who can utilize clinical knowledge and critical thinking skills to deliver safe, effective and therapeutic care. The ideal candidate must be flexible and willing to travel between all three urgent care locations (Bellingham, Lynden and Mount Vernon) to support patient care needs. This is a full-time, non-exempt (hourly) position.

Requirements

Completion of an accredited ARNP or PA-C program.
Experience in Family Medicine
Current Washington State ARNP or PA-C license
Acquire and maintain BLS certification as per FCN BLS policy.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Urgent care experience is preferred; however, candidates with other relevant clinical experience will also be considered.

Responsibilities

Utilize clinical knowledge and critical thinking skills to deliver safe, effective and therapeutic care
Communicate effectively to all members of the care team
Provide excellent customer service at all stages of patient care
Assess patient health; perform physical examinations; obtain, update, and study medical histories; administer or order diagnostic tests; and interpret the results
Perform therapeutic procedures by administering injections and immunizations, suturing, and managing wounds
Complete accurate and timely documentation of patient care in the EMR
