About The Position

Family Care Network is seeking an experienced ARNP/PA-C to join our team. We are looking for a qualified, motivated individual with a passion for family medicine who can utilize clinical knowledge and critical thinking skills to deliver safe, effective and therapeutic care. The role involves providing weekend coverage, working approximately 20 hours per week, with flexibility to travel between urgent care locations in Bellingham, Lynden, and Mount Vernon, WA. The ideal candidate will communicate effectively, provide excellent customer service, assess patient health, perform physical examinations, obtain and update medical histories, administer or order diagnostic tests, interpret results, perform therapeutic procedures, and complete accurate and timely documentation in the EMR.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited ARNP or PA-C program.
  • Experience in Family Medicine
  • Current Washington State ARNP or PA-C license
  • Acquire and maintain BLS certification as per FCN BLS policy.
  • Employees are required to meet immunization standards in accordance with federal, state, and organizational health and safety guidelines, as applicable to the role.
  • Ability to adapt to process and procedure changes
  • Ability to thrive and grow in a learning environment

Responsibilities

  • Utilize clinical knowledge and critical thinking skills to deliver safe, effective and therapeutic care
  • Communicate effectively to all members of the care team
  • Provide excellent customer service at all stages of patient care
  • Assess patient health; perform physical examinations; obtain, update, and study medical histories; administer or order diagnostic tests; and interpret the results
  • Perform therapeutic procedures by administering injections and immunizations, suturing, and managing wounds
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation of patient care in the EMR
