South Jersey Office Based Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
About The Position
South Jersey Radiology Associates (SJRA) is actively recruiting Physician Assistants and/or Nurse Practitioners to support their outpatient imaging and procedural operations. This role offers flexibility in scheduling, which will be determined based on candidate interest and operational needs. The position involves monitoring patients receiving contrast, assessing for adverse reactions, performing IV placement and vascular access procedures, and assessing patients for contraindications. The role requires collaboration with radiology technologists and clinical staff to ensure patient safety and high-quality care throughout imaging procedures. Interventional Radiology coverage may be required, with training provided.
Requirements
- Current Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) licensure in the state of New Jersey required
- NCCPA certification for Physician Assistants or national board certification for Nurse Practitioners required
- BLS certification required
- Strong vascular access/IV placement skills required
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Nice To Haves
- Interventional Radiology experience preferred
- Prior radiology, outpatient imaging, infusion, urgent care, or procedural experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Monitor patients receiving contrast and assess for adverse reactions
