About The Position

Columbus Radiology Corporation (CRC), a Radiology Partners practice, is seeking a motivated General and Interventional Radiology Advanced Practice Provider for Youngstown, OH. This hospital-based position is procedurally oriented, focusing on routine radiology procedures in a supportive and collaborative environment. The primary role is to be a physician extender/substitute for minor procedures, performing Fluoroscopy procedures and assisting in direct patient care services, including inpatient consults and rounding. Responsibilities also include scheduling patients for procedures, coordinating with other facilities, processing orders, and sending reports back to referring doctors. The role involves performing physical examinations, determining medical histories, diagnosing and treating illnesses and/or injuries, developing and implementing patient management plans, and recording progress notes. Additionally, the provider will field phone calls from patients, referring physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding patients to identify potential areas of concern in their medical management and educate patients on their medical care.

Requirements

  • Current license and certificate of authority to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the State of Ohio required
  • BLS certification required

Nice To Haves

  • Current Ohio Radiology Technologist certification preferred and considered a plus
  • ACLS certification desired

Responsibilities

  • Perform Fluoroscopy procedures
