About The Position

Care New England is seeking a full-time inpatient Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (APRN) to join our Hospitalist team at Kent Hospital in Warwick, Rhode Island. The role involves evaluating, assessing, and coordinating patient admissions while collaborating closely with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary care teams. This position is part of a team of 28+ physicians and advanced practice providers, with a primary focus on admissions, averaging 6-8 admissions per shift. The work schedule consists of thirteen 10-hour shifts per month, from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. Support is available from onsite hospitalists and residents, with a closed ICU. The systemwide EMR is Epic. The position offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
• Certified.
• Active Rhode Island PA or APRN, CSR, and DEA license or eligible.
