About The Position
A Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) is an individual who is engaged in the examination or treatment of patients while under the supervision of a licensed physician. This role is for Springfield Inpatient Physicians at CoxHealth South, a leading healthcare system serving 25 counties across southwest Missouri and northern Arkansas. The organization includes six hospitals, 5 ERs, and over 80 clinics.
Requirements
- Graduate of accredited physician assistant program
- No Prior Experience Required
- Self motivated individual who can work with little direct supervision
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams; tolerance for working with multiple numbers of people
- Good clinical expertise, communication skills, human relations skills and organizational skills
- Proficient computer skills
- Missouri PA License or NP License
- BLS obtain within first 90 days of hire
Responsibilities
- Examination or treatment of patients while under the supervision of a licensed physician.
- Successful completion of all department specific credentialing within first 90 days of employment.
