About The Position
South Jersey Radiology Associates (SJRA) is seeking Physician Assistants and/or Nurse Practitioners to support their outpatient imaging and procedural operations. This role offers flexibility in scheduling, with options for full-time or part-time employment, including three 12-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts. Candidate input is welcomed in finalizing the schedule.
Requirements
- Current Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) licensure in the state of New Jersey required
- NCCPA certification for Physician Assistants or national board certification for Nurse Practitioners required
- BLS certification required
- Strong vascular access/IV placement skills required
Nice To Haves
- Prior radiology, outpatient imaging, infusion, urgent care, or procedural experience preferred
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Monitor patients receiving contrast and assess for adverse reactions
- Perform IV placement and vascular access procedures
- Assess patients for contraindications and adverse reactions
- Work collaboratively with radiology technologists and clinical staff
- Ensure patient safety and high-quality care throughout imaging procedures
