About The Position

Gould Medical Group is seeking a board-certified Medical Weight Loss Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for their location in Modesto, CA. This is a full-time, 100% outpatient position focused on medical weight loss for an adolescent and adult patient population. The role involves seeing approximately 20 patients per day, with a mix of consultations and established patient visits. The position operates on a 5-day work week and includes alternative hours, such as late shifts ending at 8 pm, and alternating weekend coverage. The group uses Epic for their EHR system. Gould Medical Group is a stable and growing multi-specialty group with over 525 clinicians, located about two hours east of San Francisco, offering access to desirable areas like Napa Valley, Yosemite, and Lake Tahoe.

Requirements

Board-certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
Proficiency in Epic EHR system.
Bariatric and Obesity Medicine certification (required within 1 year of employment).

Nice To Haves

Bilingual in Spanish and English is strongly preferred.
Bariatric and Obesity Medicine certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide medical weight loss services to adolescent and adult patients.
Conduct approximately 20 patient visits per day, including consultations and established patient appointments.

Cover weekends on an alternating schedule.
