About The Position
Gould Medical Group is seeking a board-certified Medical Weight Loss Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join their growing, approximately 525+ clinician multi-specialty group. This role focuses on bariatric and obesity medicine, serving an adolescent and adult patient population in a 100% outpatient medical weight loss setting. The position involves seeing approximately 20 patients per day, with a mix of consultations and established patient visits, operating on a 5-day work week. The role requires covering alternative hours, including late shifts ending at 8 pm and alternating weekend schedules. The group utilizes the Epic EHR system and is described as stable and growing.
Requirements
- Board Certified
- Bariatric and Obesity Medicine certification (required within 1 year of employment)
- Proficiency in Epic EHR system
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide medical weight loss services to adolescent and adult patients.
- Conduct consultations and established patient visits.
- Manage a patient load of approximately 20 patients per day.
- Work a 5-day work week, including late shifts and alternating weekends.
- Utilize the Epic EHR system for patient documentation.
