About The Position

Radiology Alliance, a Radiology Partners’ practice, is seeking an Interventional Radiology Advanced Practice Provider to join our Interventional Radiology team in Nashville, TN. This position is procedurally oriented providing coverage at our hospital and outpatient imaging sites. You’ll work alongside a collaborative team, supported by state-of-the-art technology and infrastructure designed to drive efficiency, elevate quality, and optimize patient outcomes. Our established IR team offers a mini-fellowship training period to get acclimated to all sites and procedures.

Requirements

Board certification required
BLS AND ACLS certification required
Must hold a DEA certificate
Licensed or have the ability to be licensed as a PA/NP in the state of TN

Procedure/Radiology experience preferred

Responsibilities

Primary role is to be a physician extender/substitute for procedures performed in radiology
Assist in the performance of direct patient care services and inpatient consults
Assists physician with physical examinations, determine medical histories, diagnose and treat illnesses and/or injuries
Under the supervision of a physician, develop and implement patient management plans and record progress notes
central lines, tunneled catheters, chest tubes, paracentesis, thoracentesis, superficial biopsies, lumbar punctures, myelograms, arthrograms, abscess drainage, thyroid biopsies, fluoro, etc.
