Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an excellent potential opportunity for a civilian or transitioning (from the Military) NP or PA Otolaryngology (ENT) provider at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. Requirements

Graduated from an approved medical school.
Successfully completed an internship and residency in an accredited U.S. Training Program, Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) approved residency that is acceptable to the U.S. Air Force Surgeon General.
Current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS) using American Heart Association or the American Red Cross guidelines.
Board-certified in Otolaryngology by the American Board of Otolaryngology, or American Osteopathic Board of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery (AOBOO-HNS).
Actively employed in the practice of Otolaryngology or been in a recognized Otolaryngology (or Otolaryngology sub-specialty) training program for a minimum of 36 months of the last 48 months.
Experience in the same clinical specialty.
Documented credentials attesting to scope of Otolaryngology practice and any special procedures requested.
Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice medicine as a Physician in Florida.

Responsibilities

Participate in the monthly peer review process of clinical skills, reviewing a minimum of 10 routine cases seen in the last 30 days, including review of clinical notes and/or performance.
Provide peer review for other Oncology physicians.
Perform a full range and spectrum of comprehensive specialty care on site at the MTF, including evaluation and treatment of emergent, urgent, and non-emergent patients.
Perform a full range of appropriate examinations.
Deliver services within the personnel and equipment capabilities of the MTF.
Provide mandated medical surveillance and preventive services.
Ensure the quality and timeliness of treatment records and reports required to document procedures performed and care provided.
Practice within the guidelines set by the credentialing office of the 96 MDG and the Medical Director.
Maintain productivity comparable to other civilian and military Otolaryngology physicians assigned to the same facility with the same scope of practice.
Provide care of patients at another hospital or clinic facility when authorized.
See new patient consults and established follow-up clinic visits.
Respond to telephone consults.
Address patient expectations and requirements.
Establish level of need and priority of care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
