About The Position

Allegiance Medical Group (AMG) is seeking Independent Contractor Medical Examiners to perform Compensation and Pension (C&P) disability examinations and occupational health evaluations. This position involves conducting comprehensive medical assessments, generating high-quality reports, and ensuring timely documentation in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This is a flexible, part-time contractor role with competitive fees in a supportive clinical environment. AMG provides disability and physical examinations for Veterans, uniformed service members, law enforcement, and federal employees. Requirements

  • Professional degree: P.A., N.P., M.D., or D.O. from an accredited institution
  • Board certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Occupational Medicine)
  • Valid and unrestricted state medical license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive physical examinations and functional assessments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report generation
  • Proficient with secure EMR systems and HIPAA-compliant documentation
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases with high attention to detail
  • Able to stand, lift, and move during patient examinations as needed
  • Ability to perform physical assessments and functional testing

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience conducting C&P examinations or federal medical evaluations
  • Familiarity with federal, state, and local occupational health standards
  • Experience collaborating with administrative and clinical staff to ensure report accuracy and timeliness
