About The Position

The organization is hiring a Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) to provide urgent care at its Chino, California clinic. This is a weekends-only role with 12-hour shifts from Friday through Sunday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., with routine breaks. Providers treat approximately four patients per hour, serving patients from newborns through geriatrics and providing full-spectrum care. The role includes common procedures such as incision and drainage, toenail removal, and laceration repair. The clinic provides in-house point-of-care testing, X-ray, and EKG; routine X-ray results are available in the patient chart within 20 minutes. Documentation uses Experity EMR with an AI scribe and is described as minimal and effective. Compensation is $85 per hour, with overtime, and malpractice coverage with tail coverage. The position is described as an employed model and a supplemental income opportunity.

Requirements

Complete a formal Family Medicine Residency Program or Emergency Medicine Program.
Hold an active California medical license in good standing with no restrictions.
Hold a DEA certificate in good standing with no restrictions.
Have at least one year of relevant experience in urgent care or emergency medicine.

Responsibilities
