About The Position

Novant Health Urgent Care is seeking a Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner to join their growing urgent care team. The provider will work with a support team to serve diverse patient populations aged 6 months and above. Novant Health Urgent Care, formerly Doctors Care, is part of the Novant Health family and operates over 40 urgent care centers and 17 physical therapy facilities across South Carolina, with administrative support from their Columbia-based headquarters. They are committed to providing exceptional, convenient, and affordable healthcare.

Requirements

Master's degree in either Nurse Practitioner (with Family Nurse Practitioner specialty), or Physician Assistant
Active SC licensure
Active DEA and SC Controlled Substance
DOT Certification
2 or more years of experience working in either family practice or urgent care setting
Willing to work 12 hour shifts and weekends
Willing to work at other centers as needed
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to reflect our mission, vision, and values through actions and conduct.

Nice To Haves

5 or more years of urgent care experience as a FNP or PA

Responsibilities

Work with support teams of patient services representatives, nurses, medical assistants, and x-ray techs.
Serve diverse patient populations ages 6 months and above.
