Requirements

  • Master of Science degree or higher, with completion of a Nurse Practitioner Program or Physician Assistant Certification
  • Registered and currently recorded with the Idaho Board of Nursing and certified as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.

Nice To Haves

  • A background in Orthopedic Medicine or Sports Medicine is ideal.
  • Orthopedic and Neuro experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Interview patients for health history and perform physical examination
  • Order and evaluate appropriate diagnostic and laboratory tests
  • Document H & P, progress notes, and treatment plans
  • Act as liaison between patients and physicians to coordinate recommended patient care as well as pre- and post-operative care
  • Caring for patients in a clinical setting
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary quality and service improvement meetings
  • Other duties as assigned
