Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner - Emergency Dept/ PT/PRN
About The Position
Physician Practice Enhancement and Carewell Medical Center is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the Emergency Department team at Carewell Medical Center in East Orange, New Jersey. The role involves providing high-quality emergency care in a supportive, patient-focused environment. Emergency Medicine experience is preferred. The position is part-time or PRN. Schedule options are Monday and Wednesday, 9:00 AM–7:00 PM or 2:00 PM–12:00 AM; Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM or 4:00 PM–12:00 AM; and Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 AM–8:00 PM. Part-time staff work 4–6 shifts per month; PRN staff work 2 shifts per month.
Requirements
- Licensed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in the State of New Jersey.
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced Emergency Department.
