About The Position
Established practice in Ponchatoula, LA has been delighting patients for years. This is the practice of Dr. Robert Benson, a Tulane trained dermatologist. The practice is a full-service general dermatology, surgical, and cosmetics practice. You will be working alongside a dermatologist. You will be supported by an experienced administrative and clinical team that scribe and perform clinical administrative tasks freeing you to focus on patients.
Requirements
- Must be licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in the state of Louisiana.
- Three year's experience in dermatology required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A genuine passion for dermatology and patient care
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of dermatologic conditions in patients of all ages
- Perform and assist with dermatologic procedures, including biopsies, cryotherapy, excisions, and cosmetic treatments based on training and interest
- Collaborate closely with supervising dermatologist and medical team to ensure high standards of patient care
- Educate patients on skin health, treatment plans, preventive care, and post-procedure instructions
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of patient encounters in compliance with medical and legal requirements
