Professional Care Medical Practices PC ("Professional Care”) is a private, physician founded, nationally accredited correctional health care practice. Professional Care provides comprehensive medical & mental health care services in the state of New York. Correctional health care is a unique, challenging, and exciting opportunity for today’s medical professional in that it provides the ability to truly utilize all of your learned medical skills and knowledge on a daily basis. It is the perfect hybrid of Primary Care, Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, and Addiction Medicine; providing care to an under-served, diverse, and truly appreciative patient population. We are currently looking for a Part-Time, Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team and provide on-site medical care at the Ulster County Jail in Kingston NY or the Dutchess County Jail in Poughkeepsie, NY Part time is 16 to 24 hours per week depending on the facility. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Board Certified.
- Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of New York.
- Maintain current DEA license.
- Maintain active BLS (i.e. CPR) certification.
- Maintain current Driver’s License.
